横浜駅西口周辺で開催中のヨコハマイルミネーション2021「AURORA MAGIC」内映像コンテンツのディレクションをカラーズクリエーション代表の石多未知行が担当しました。また、所属クリエイターのLi Chengが映像コンテンツ制作、吉田 敬がサウンド制作を担当しました。
横浜駅中央西口駅前広場では、毎日17時から21時まで15 分ごとに音楽に合わせて、イルミネーション演出を展開しています。本イベントは昨年11月17日から始まり、2月14日（月）まで開催されています。
■ヨコハマイルミネーション 2021「AURORA MAGIC」概要
38 回目となる今回は、横浜の空にまるでオーロラが出現したような幻想的な世界を表現。さらにサブタイトルを「オーロラに舞う蝶に明日への希望をのせて」とし、幸せを表すと言われる蝶のモチーフをデザインしました。地上から飛び立つその姿に導かれ、オーロラの空を見上げることで、コロナ禍の人々に明るい未来への希望を感じてもらい、横浜に集う全ての人々を応援する気持ちをこめています。
イルミネーションに使用するLED 球は、今回のために開発した、100球あたり9W消費の省エネルギーのRGBLED球を含めた21万球が点灯。環境にも配慮しつつ、色鮮やかで明るいイルミネーションになっています。この他、2020 年に引き続き、ライトブルーLED を採用し、新型コロナウイルスに対応する医療従事者の皆さまへの感謝の気持ちも表しています。

中国出身のCGクリエイター、クリエイティブアーティスト。
多くのプロジェクションマッピング国際コンペティションに参加し、日々ハイエンドな作品を追求・挑戦を続けている。

吉田 敬 / サウンド制作
大分県出身。音楽を軸としてマルチクリエイターとして活動。2014年にはデザインと音楽の会社「株式会社サンナナ」を 設立し、自身は主にCMソング等の楽曲制作、またマーケティング及びライティング等を担当している。近年では、写真家としても活躍し、東京、福島など全国で個展を開催、県の写真コンテストなどで賞を受賞。プロジェクションマッピングではサウンドディレクターを務め、これまでにロシアや日本で開催された世界大会ではファイナリストに4度入賞している。

石多 未知行 / コンテンツディレクション
クリエイティブディレクター、空間演出家、映像クリエイター、東京芸術大学非常勤講師
映像を使った特殊な空間演出を国内外で多数手がける。2011年よりプロジェクションマッピング協会を立ち上げ、アジア最大級の国際大会「1minute Projection Mapping competition」をプロデュースするなど、日本のプロジェクションマッピング業界を牽引してきた第一人者。数多くの国際大会の審査員も務める。アーティストの視点を持った企画プロデューサー・演出家として、様々な個性的プロジェクトを多数手掛けている。

Creators belonging to COLORs CREATION were in charge of the video content and sound production in Yokohama Illumination 2021 “AURORA MAGIC”
Michiyuki Ishita, the representative of COLORs CREATION, was in charge of the comprehensive production of the video content in Yokohama Illumination 2021 “AURORA MAGIC” that was held around the west exit of Yokohama Station. In addition, creator Li Cheng, was in charge of the video production, and Kay Yoshida was in charge of sound production.
The illumination content following the music are exhibited every 15 minutes from 17:00 to 21:00 at the Yokohama Station Central West Exit Station Square. This event started on Nov. 17th, 2021 and will continue until Feb. 14th, 2022.
■ Overview of Yokohama Illumination 2021 “AURORA MAGIC”
This event, held for the 38th time, expresses a fantastic world as though an aurora appeared in the sky of Yokohama. The subtitle for this work is “Put the hopes for tomorrow on the butterflies dancing in the aurora”, with a butterfly as a motif as it is said to express happiness. Guided by the appearance of butterflies flying from the ground and then looking up to the aurora sky makes the people feel the hope for a bright future in this corona times, so that people who gather in Yokohama will have a lot of feelings of support.
For the illumination, 210,000 bulbs including the energy-saving RGB LED bulb that consumes 9W per 100 bulbs are developed for this event. The illumination was bright and colorful while still considering the environment. In addition, to express our gratitude to all medical professionals who are responding to the coronavirus, light blue LEDs which were done in 2020 were also adopted.

Kay Yoshida / Music Production
A multi-creator focusing on music, born in Oita Prefecture. In 2014, he founded a design and music company “Sunnana inc.”, and is mainly in charge of producing music which includes CM songs, marketing, and lighting. In recent years, he has also been active as a photographer, holding solo exhibitions in Tokyo and Fukushima, and winning prizes in prefectural photography contests. He has been a sound director in projection mapping and has become finalists for four world competitions held in Russia and Japan.

Creative Director, Spatial designer, Video creator, part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts
He has worked on many special space productions using images both in Japan and overseas. A leading figure in the projection mapping industry in Japan, including the establishment of the Projection Mapping Association in 2011 and the production of “1minute Projection Mapping competition”, one of the largest international competitions in Asia. He also serves as a judge for numerous international competitions. As a planning producer and director from an artist’s point of view, he is involved in many unique projects.
