ポルトガル出身のVJ。
プロジェクションマッピングや音による空間演出を得意とするニューメディアアーティストであり、フルドーム/没入型映像空間アーティストとしても国際的に活躍。
国際的に高い評価を受けているビデオアーティストグループ「United VJs」の設立メンバー。
イギリスにおけるフルドーム映像の祭典「FULLDOME UK」の主催者の1人であり、ディレクターも勤める。
また、フルドーム映像の制作ソフトウェアBlendy Dome VJの作成に携わり、アート・テクノロジー教育プラットフォーム「VJ University」を設立するなど、業界の発展に寄与している。
Pedro Zaz / United VJs – (VJ ZAZ) is a Portuguese new-media artist, working internationally with VJ, projection mapping, Spatial Audio and as an artist in fulldome / immersive cinema.
Zaz is the co-founder of the international acclaimed video artist group United VJs. Pedro is also a director and one of the principle organisers of the film festival FULLDOME UK.
In the field of fulldome, he has also co-created the software Blendy Dome VJ. The artist also founded the education platform VJ University which provides specific art & technology training for VJs and other visual artists around the world.

【フルドームインタレーション(リオデジャネイロ)】
フルドーム映像システムデザインにBlendy Dome VJを活用し、United VJとLucas Gutierrezのコラボレーションで、リオデジャネイロの中心部にて “O Futuro Do Ser “と題したフルドーム体験を開催。参加者に、人類の過去を振り返り、歴史が徐々に展開していく様子を目の当たりにする体験を提供。
【United VJs Lux Elvas 2023】
Pedro Zaz指揮の下、ユナイテッドVJは、Elvasの11回目のユネスコ世界遺産登録記念を祝うLux Elvas 2023で、ビデオマッピングのライブ・パフォーマンスを披露。VJ SpettoとVJ Zazによる40分間のライブショーは、Sé de Elvasをダイナミックなストーリーテリングのキャンバスに変え、ユナイテッドVJのテクノロジー、歴史、芸術表現の融合を展開。

Free Fulldome Experience in Rio de Janeiro
United VJs, in collaboration with Lucas Gutierrez and utilizing Blendy Dome VJ for fulldome video system design, presented a complimentary fulldome experience in the city center of Rio de Janeiro titled “O Futuro Do Ser.” Attendees had the opportunity to delve into the past, witnessing history gradually unfold and celebrating one of humanity’s greatest achievements: longevity.
United VJs Lux Elvas 2023: Mesmerizing Video Mapping
Under Pedro Zaz’s direction, United VJs delivered a captivating live Video Mapping performance at Lux Elvas 2023, celebrating Elvas’s 11th UNESCO World Heritage anniversary. The 40-minute live show by VJ Spetto and VJ Zaz transformed Sé de Elvas into a dynamic storytelling canvas, showcasing United VJs’ fusion of technology, history, and artistic expression.
